I've been making films ever since my Dad bought a VHS-C camera and I claimed it as my own. I found the action of capturing images and using them to tell a story fascinating. I constantly roped my sister into appearing in my early efforts, much to her dismay. Needless to say these early videos have now been consigned to the "don't show anyone except family" drawer. Amazingly I'm now an award winning filmmaker, with several of my films screened in film festivals around the world.
My work usually explores the darker side of humanity, often depicting the twisted and perverse things people do to themselves and others (with a healthy sprinkling of comedy). My short films have screened at hundreds of festivals worldwide winning numerous awards in the process. Along with my debut feature, THE CREEPING, I'm best known for the short films PLASTIC LOVE, TERRY AND BRENDA, and UNTO DEATH.
THE CREEPING is available to watch around the world.
